The Firgarth is an elegant Victorian house built in 1875 and enjoying pleasant outlooks. It is conveniently situated in Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District, enabling you to be with easy access of the Lakeland scenery.

For guests wishing to enjoy walking in the area, maps and selected walks are available. Local walks can be made to:

(1) Hammarbank Viewpoint and then along the lakeside.
(2) Orrest Head with views of Troutbeck Valley & Morecambe Bay.
(3) St. Mary's Church and so on to Sheriff's Walk and Bowness.

Tours of the Lake District in luxury minibuses can be arranged for your enjoyment whereby you are collected from, and returned to, The Firgarth.
